Context

In 2021, Gucci celebrated its centenary with a visionary project: ‘A Present for the Future’, a digital time capsule designed to connect the past, present and future in an immersive experience.
This unique platform gave Gucci employees around the world the opportunity to connect and leave a personal message for their colleagues in the future, creating a collective testimony to the brand's identity.

By accessing the platform, users could select one of the available pixels, enter their details and record their message. Once completed, the pixels came together to form the most representative icons of the Gucci brand, such as the double ‘G’ logo or iconic graphic elements from its collections.
This digital experience not only celebrated fashion, but also highlighted the brand's role as a catalyst for human connections and global creativity.
The development of “A Present for the Future” was led by a multidisciplinary team, which worked to ensure an intuitive and visually appealing experience.
Designers, developers and creatives collaborated to transform the idea into a functional and technologically advanced platform, maintaining the refined and innovative aesthetic that characterises Gucci.
Attention to detail, both graphic and technical, ensured that the experience was not only engaging, but also representative of the brand's values.

With this project, Gucci has reaffirmed its ability to innovate, blending tradition and modernity, and inspiring the future through the creation of a shared heritage of stories, emotions and visions.
